The New Hampshire Nurses Association’s Excellence in Nursing Task Force has developed the following information to facilitate the nomination process for the Excellence in Nursing Awards.  The task force identified five areas of excellence that contain criterion specific to that specialty. The five areas of excellence include leadership, advocacy, ethics, communication and collaboration and professionalism.  Each criterion should be evident within the nomination submitted.

For each of the awards, the task force has identified five criteria.  Each criterion will be rated on a scale of 1 to 5 for total possible score of 25 per nomination.  The task force has also identified qualities that represent the five areas of criteria covered under each category.

Please note: 3 additional points will be added to the final score of nominees who are verified members of the New Hampshire Nurses Association.
